Dr. Alexis Benitez Lazzarotto is a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner with over 10 years of practice in medicine. Originally from Spain, Dr. Benitez moved to Canada at the age of five and spent nearly 20 years there before relocating to Australia in 2011. He completed his medical studies at Queensland University and has since developed a strong interest in a variety of medical fields.
With a background in Human Kinetics (British Columbia), Dr. Benitez initially considered a career in physiotherapy but was drawn to the broader scope of general medicine. His medical career has also been shaped by his experiences in intensive care medicine, having worked in the ICU at PA Hospital for three years.
Dr. Benitez’s medical interests are diverse, with a particular focus on procedures. He is skilled in performing vasectomies and has a passion for working with patients in nursing homes, where he spends two days a week caring for residents across five different facilities.
In addition to his professional skills, Dr. Benitez is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). He is committed to providing high-quality healthcare with a compassionate and holistic approach.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Benitez enjoys soccer, sports, and travelling. He is fluent in Spanish, allowing him to provide care to a diverse range of patients.
